Watermark Image
Add a text watermark to a JPG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF without uploading it anywhere — the mark is stamped in your browser. Choose diagonal, horizontal, or tiled, with light/medium/strong strength and a gray or red mark. The file keeps its format, and the measured quality of the re-encoded result is shown. No account, no email.
Frequently asked questions
- Does my image get uploaded?
- No. The watermark is drawn inside your browser on your own device — the image never leaves your computer and never reaches a server. That matters most for exactly the images you watermark: proofs, drafts, and confidential pictures.
- Will the watermark reduce my image quality?
- Stamping text changes pixels, so a JPG, WebP, or AVIF has to be re-encoded — there is no lossless way around that. The tool re-encodes at high quality and shows you the measured quality score of the delivered file, so nothing happens silently. A PNG stays pixel-for-pixel identical everywhere the mark doesn't cover, with transparency kept.
- What layouts and styles can I choose?
- Diagonal (across the image), horizontal, or a tiled mosaic that repeats across the whole frame. Each comes in light, medium, or strong strength, in a neutral gray or a warning red — the mark is auto-sized to your image so it never clips.
- Does it keep my file's format?
- Yes. A JPG comes back a JPG, a PNG a PNG, and so on — watermarking marks your image, it doesn't convert it. Transparency in PNG, WebP, and AVIF is preserved.
