Resize Image

Resize a JPG, PNG, or WebP to exact pixel dimensions or by percentage without uploading it anywhere — the resampling runs in your browser. Aspect ratio locked by default, real before/after sizes shown. No account, no email.

Frequently asked questions

Does my image get uploaded?
No. The resampling runs inside your browser on your own device — the image never leaves your computer and never reaches a server.
Will the resized image stay sharp?
Downscaling uses a Lanczos3 filter — the same class of resampling professional image tools use — so the result keeps edges clean instead of going soft or jagged. For JPG and WebP the re-encode quality is then tuned per image against a measured perceptual score, which is shown to you with the result.
Can I make an image larger?
Yes, up to 4× per side — useful when a form demands minimum dimensions. But enlarging cannot add detail that was never captured, so the result is labeled honestly as enlarged rather than dressed up as enhancement.
How do I keep the proportions right?
The aspect ratio is locked by default: enter a width and the height follows automatically (or the other way around). You can unlock it to force both dimensions, and the preview shows exactly what you will get before you resize.
What happens to a PNG's transparency?
It is preserved. PNG output is lossless at the new size — the pixels are resampled once and then stored without any further quality loss, alpha channel intact.
Which formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, and WebP. GIF and SVG are not supported yet — the tool tells you immediately if you drop one instead of failing silently.
