Sign a PDF
Draw, type, or upload your signature and place it on a PDF — entirely in your browser. The document and your signature are never uploaded, and every page's text stays exactly as it was. No account, no email.
Frequently asked questions
- Does my file get uploaded?
- No — and for a contract, that is the whole point. Your document and your signature are processed entirely in your browser, on your own device. Neither is ever uploaded to a server, and it works with your connection switched off.
- How do I create my signature?
- Three ways, all on your device: draw it with a mouse, trackpad, or finger; type your name in a signature style; or upload an image of your signature. A transparent PNG works best for an uploaded image.
- Is this a legally binding digital signature?
- It places your visual signature — your handwritten mark, exactly where you put it. It is not a certified digital signature with a cryptographic certificate and audit trail (the kind DocuSign or Adobe Sign issue). For everyday signing — forms, letters, agreements between people who already trust each other — a visible signature is what's needed, and this does it without uploading your document.
- Does signing change the rest of the document?
- No. Signing only adds your signature image — every page and all of its text stay exactly as they were (it's lossless). Place the signature on one page, or with a single toggle, on every page.
