ODT to PDF

Convert an OpenDocument Text (.odt) file to PDF using LibreOffice — the same engine that created it. Full fidelity: styles, headers, footers, and tables are preserved. Never stored permanently.

Frequently asked questions

Does my file get uploaded?
Yes. Conversion uses LibreOffice running on our secure server. Your file is sent over an encrypted connection, converted, and immediately deleted — never stored permanently.
Will the formatting be preserved?
Because ODT is LibreOffice's native format, the conversion is equivalent to using File → Export as PDF directly in LibreOffice. Paragraph styles, page headers and footers, tables, embedded images, and character formatting are all preserved with full fidelity.
What software creates .odt files?
LibreOffice Writer, OpenOffice Writer, Google Docs (via export), and many academic and government document systems use ODT as their default or preferred format. It is an ISO-standardised open format (ISO 26300).
How long does conversion take?
Most ODT files convert in under 10 seconds. Documents with many embedded images or complex styles may take up to 30 seconds.
