ODP to PDF
Convert an OpenDocument Presentation (.odp) file to PDF using LibreOffice Impress — the engine that created it. Full fidelity: slide layouts, text, and images are preserved.
Frequently asked questions
- Does my file get uploaded?
- Yes. Conversion uses LibreOffice Impress running on our secure server. Your file is sent over an encrypted connection, converted, and immediately deleted — never stored permanently.
- Will slide formatting be preserved?
- Because ODP is LibreOffice Impress's native format, the conversion is equivalent to File → Export as PDF directly from the application. Slide layouts, text boxes, images, and fonts are preserved with full fidelity.
- Are animations and videos included in the PDF?
- No. PDF is a static format — animations do not transfer. Each slide is exported as a static image representing the final state of all animations. Video frames are not included.
- How long does conversion take?
- Most presentations convert in under 15 seconds. Presentations with many embedded images or complex layouts may take up to 25 seconds.
