EPUB to PDF
Convert an EPUB e-book to PDF using LibreOffice. Text, chapters, and structure are preserved. No account required. File is processed securely and immediately deleted.
Frequently asked questions
- Does my file get uploaded?
- Yes. Conversion uses LibreOffice Writer running on our secure server. Your file is sent over an encrypted connection, converted, and immediately deleted — never stored permanently.
- Can I convert DRM-protected EPUB files?
- No. DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected EPUB files are encrypted. LibreOffice cannot decrypt them without the DRM key. Only DRM-free EPUB files can be converted. Public domain books from Project Gutenberg, self-published books, and books bought from DRM-free stores like Smashwords are convertible. Books purchased from Amazon, Apple Books, and most commercial publishers use DRM and cannot be converted.
- Will the formatting look the same as in my e-reader?
- Not exactly. EPUB is a reflowable format — the layout adapts to the screen size and font settings of the reading application. Converting to PDF produces a paginated document with fixed page breaks and fixed font sizes. The text content is preserved completely, but the typography and line-breaks will differ from how the book appears in your reading app.
- How long does conversion take?
- Most EPUB files convert in under 20 seconds. Longer books (500+ pages) or EPUB files with many embedded images may take up to 30 seconds.
