GIF to PDF

Convert a GIF image to a PDF. Static and animated GIFs are supported — animated GIFs produce a PDF of the first frame. Runs entirely in your browser: your file is never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Does my file get uploaded?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser using your device's own processing power. Your GIF is never sent to a server.
What happens with animated GIFs?
The PDF will contain only the first frame of the animation. If you need all frames, you would need to export each frame individually and then use the merge tool to combine them.
What quality will the output be?
The GIF is decoded by your browser and re-encoded as a JPEG within the PDF. The visual quality is high for most GIFs. Very small or low-resolution GIFs will appear at their original size — the tool never upscales.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no server-side limit since everything runs locally. Very large GIFs (over 20MB) may be slow on lower-powered devices.
